Wylene Wall

Wylene Ramey Wall, 83, of Otto, North Carolina, formerly of Clayton, Georgia and widow of William David Wall (best known as W.D.) died peacefully at Angel Medical Center in Franklin, North Carolina, Sunday October 6, 2013 with her family and loved ones by her side.

She was a matriarch and dearly loved by all who knew her and especially her children and grandchildren. She was the glue that held her family together and her loss leaves a hole that can never be filled. She was the queen of our hearts. Wylene was born May 31, 1930, to the late Henry W. Ramey and Mona Wooten Ramey. She was a homemaker and care giver and a member of Jehovah’s Witness.

She was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Wall, by two grandsons, Little Mel and Little Bo Wall; by two brothers; James Henry (Babe) Ramey and Dock Ramey and by two sisters, Magdalene Gibson and Irene Crone. And is survived by a son, Vance Wall and Wife Patricia of Franklin, NC., by four daughters; Rita Mosley and husband Leigh of Clayton, GA., Mona Cole and husband Frederick of Otto, NC, Greta Bozeman and husband Allen of Rabun Gap, GA., Tina Duncan of Clayton, GA., one sister, Annie Mae Rogers of Clayton, GA. Thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A host of nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Graveside Services will be at Rabun Memory Park at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 9, 2013.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday October 8, 2013. The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Leigh Mosley, on Charlotte Drive off Warwoman Road, Clayton, Georgia.
