William Mcclanahan

William Robert (Bob) McClanahan, 88, of Clayton, Georgia., died Saturday October 25, 2014 in Clayton.

Born September 15, 1926 in Centerville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Revo Jones McClanahan and Mary Lottie Sheppard McClanahan. He lived most of his life in Hapeville, Georgia. He was a builder with his brothers in McClanahan Enterprises and was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death, besides his parents, by a daughter, Nanette Wood and is survived by his wife, Annie Martha McClanahan of Lagrange, GA., four brothers, Jack McClanahan of Fayetteville, GA., Bud McClanahan of Clayton, GA., Bill McClanahan of Moreland, GA. and Larry McClanahan of Clarkesville, GA. Three sisters, Dorothy Clayton of Woodstock, GA., Janie McCrarey of Canton, GA and Rita Lance of Cartersville, GA. Three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Georgia.
