William Berry Mize

William Berry Mize, 93, of Tiger, GA passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020. 

Born August 21, 1926, in Rabun County, GA, he was the son of the late Wilburn Nathan Mize and Rosa Ramey Mize. He was a US Air Force veteran where he served as Senior Master Sergeant (SMSgt) and was of the Baptist faith. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sakaie Oshidari Mize, his parents, Nathan and Rosa Mize, by four brothers, Ray, John Henry, Willie and Gene Mize, by five sisters, Elvie Rice, Elsie Metcalf, Maude Wilburn Griffith, Mertice Abrams and Delia Whittaker. 
He is survived by a son, Johnnie and Martha Mize of Stone Mtn, GA, a daughter, Dorothy Mize Ramirez and Joe Ramirez of Castaic, CA., and two sisters, Bonnie Dunegan of Gainesville, GA and Stella Martin of Atlanta, GA. Five grandchildren, Joanna Mize, Stephanie Mize, Robin Mize, Jeremy Ramirez and Darien Ramirez.

The body has been cremated and there will be a memorial service at a later date at the Riverside National Cemetery.

The family is at their respective residences.
