Wilhelmina Phillips

Wilhelmina Jean Justus Phillips, 72, of Westminster, South Carolina., went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday morning May 28, 2014

Born in Rabun County December 20, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Prelo D. and Jessie Faye Wall Justus. She was a homemaker and was a member of Blue Heights Baptist Church and she loved her family and friends.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kayla Cantrell and is survived by her husband, Hubert J. Phillips, Sr., of the home. By two sons, Hubert J. Phillips Jr., (Robbie) Westminster, SC., David A. Phillips (Crystal) Pickens, SC. Five daughters; Amanda Phillips of Westminster, SC., Angelia Owens (Lee) Westminster, SC., Sandra Pierce (Adam), Seneca, SC, Shirley Moore of Westminster, SC., and Deborah Bridges (Stanley) Pendleton, SC. Two brothers, Winfred Justus, Mt. City, GA., and Buddo Justus of Rabun GA. Four sisters, Yvonne Cleveland of Toccoa, GA, Sharron Shirley of Clayton, GA., Gwinda Corn of Rabun gap, GA., and Tammy Parrish of Phenix City, Alabama. Sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Friday May 30, 2014 at Blue Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Burdette officiating. Burial will be in Rabun Memory Park.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken Thursday May 29, 2014 4:00 P.M. to the home of her son and daughter- in-law, Junior and Robbie Phillips, 226 Serenity Drive, Westminster, SC., where it will remain until 11:30 A.M. Friday. The body will be placed in the Blue Heights Baptist Church Mt. City, Georgia., at 1:00 P.M. Friday to lie in state. The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Junior and Robbie Phillips 226 Serenity Drive, Westminster, South Carolina.
