Wayne Kelly Moore, 69, Clayton, Georgia


Wayne Kelly Moore, 69, of J.B. and Fred Lane Clayton, Georgia died Thursday night May 10, 2011 at his residence in the Five Points Community.
Born in Rabun County, January 29, 1942, he was the son of Vera Kelly Moore of Rabun Gap, Georgia and the late Wallace R. Moore. He was an automobile mechanic and was a member of the North Clayton Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Moore and by a sister; Linda Moore Dills. And is survived by his wife, Betty Watts Moore of the home. His mother, Vera Kelly Moore of Rabun GAP, GA. One daughter, Theresa Moore Welborn and her husband, Tommy of Rabun Gap, GA. Three brothers, Robert Moore and his wife Monica of Rabun Gap, GA. Gordon Moore and his wife, Theresa of SummerTown, GA., and Kenneth Moore of Rabun Gap, GA One sister, Dorothy Moore Brown and her husband Benny of Dewey Rose, GA. Two granddaughters, Jessica Thomas and her husband Matthew of Lakemount, GA. and Kayla Ramey of Clayton. And one great grandson, Marlon Cary Thomas.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 14, 2011 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Conner and Rev. Roy Conner officiating. Burial will be in the Wesley Memorial Cemetery, Rabun Gap, Georgia.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday May 13, 2011.
The family is at the home on J.B. and Fred Lane, in the Five Points Community, RT.3 Clayton, Georgia. And at the home of his brother, Kenneth Moore on Old Kelsey Mountain Road in the Kelly’s Creek Community.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
