Wanda Jewell Bleckley, 68 of Clayton, GA passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 1, 2018.
Wanda was a textile worker for 42 years. She was a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church. Wanda loved spending time with her family and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard Bleckley of the home. She was a loving mama to Gary Bleckley (Tanya) and Amanda Weber (Mike) both of Clayton. She was Nanny to Brooke Bleckley (Steven), Rayna Bleckley and Blake Weber all of Clayton. She was Mawmaw to special grandchildren, Shanda Hunnicutt (Rusty) and Seth Speed. Surviving siblings include Connie Conley (Turner), Carolyn Emory (William), Roger Bates, Ricky Bates (Vicki), and Donald Bates (Barbara) all of Franklin, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by sister and best friend, Gail Bates. Wanda is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Scott Bates of Gastonia, North Carolina, and Adam Conley.
There will be a private graveside service at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, January 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. with immediate family and close friends. Pastor Madison McCrackin and Rev. Joe McCrackin will be officiating. The family will be at the home located at 79 Holcomb Lane, Clayton.
