Vicky Hammons

Vicky Edith Welch Hammons, 56, of Clayton, Georgia., died Monday October 28, 2013 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

Born in Rabun County December 24, 1956, she was the daughter of Cletta Sosebee Welch of Clayton and the late J.B. Welch. She was employed in the textile industry before she became disabled. She attended the Baptist Church.

Vicky is survived by her mother, Cletta Sosebee Welch of Clayton; one daughter Cletta Victoria Welch McClain of Clayton. Several aunts, uncles’ cousins and friends also survive.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Friday November 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Stutsman officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Family Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and family will receive friends Friday November 1, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. (The Funeral Hour).

The family is at their respective residences.
