Vicki Chastain York

Vicki Chastain York, age 65 of Clayton, Georgia,  passed away Friday, November 10, 2023. 

She was born May 21, 1958 to the late Harley James Chastain and Lillian "Stiles" Chastain. She was married to loving husband Felix York. Vicki was a loving, humble woman of God who never had an ill word to say about anybody. She was a member of the Flats of Middle Creek Baptist Church. She loved to fish, can food and found great joy in painting rocks. 

She is survived by her Husband, Felix York; son, Corey York; daughter, Misty Lanier; grandchildren, Danielle Lanier Dowdal, and Morgan Lanier; sister, Lishea Chastain; brothers, Ed (Cyndi) Chastain, and Dickie (Juanita) Chastain; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
 
Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 13, 2023, 1:00 PM at Blalock-Thompson Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Kilby officiating. Following the service the family will gather at the Persimmon Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 2032 Persimmon Rd, Clayton , GA for a time of fellowship and all are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Vicki's honor to the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund, PO Box 485, Rabun Gap, GA 30568.
