Tommy Shirley

Tommy Shirley, 65, of Clayton, GA, died Tuesday May 29, 2018 at his home on Dave Wall Drive, Clayton, GA.

Born February 16, 1953 in Wiley, GA; he was the son of the late Jesse F. Shirley and Jean Hipps Shirley. He was an electrician at the Fruit of the Loom and attended the Blue Heights Baptist Church.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Jean Shirley and by an infant brother and is survived by his wife, Sharron Justus Shirley of the home and by two sons, Prelo Justus (Susan) and Joshua Porter (Shannon) of Clayton, GA, one daughter, Yvonne McGhee of Winder, GA, one brother, Ricky Shirley, of Mountain City, GA, one sister, Dianne Cozy of Perry, GA. Nine grandchildren, Shay, Jamie, Daniel, Kendall, Joey, Gabriel, Caden, Wyatt and Aliyah, also one great grandson, Christopher survives.

The body is being cremated and a memorial service will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday May 30, 2018 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cannon officiating. The visitation will be Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service at 7:00pm.

The family is at home on Dave Wall Drive, Clayton, and asks that memorial donation be made, in his memory, to the Sid Weber Memorial Fund Foundation, PO Box 485, Rabun Gap, Georgia, 30568.
