Tocola Manley Thompson, 79 of Cat Gap RD, Clayton, GA died Thursday April 30, 2009 in Mountain View Health Care Center.
Born May 29. 1929 in Habersham county, she was the daughter of the late Namon and Lilly Burton Manley. She had spent the greater part of her life in Rabun County. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Persimmon Baptist Church. She was the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by a son and daughter in law James Earl and Cathy Crone Thompson of Clayton, GA. One grand daughter Sherry Jones of Clayton, One great grand daughter Chassidy Barrett of Clayton, Two great grand sons JefferyRichard Jones and Brion Jones both of Clayton.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday May 2, 2009 at the Persimmon Baptist Church with Rev, J.C. Quilliams officiating. Burial will be in the Persimmon Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday May 1, 2009.
The body will be placed in the Church at 12:00 Noon Saturday May 2, 2009 to lie in the state. The family is at the home of her son and daughter in law, James Earl and Cathy Crone Thompson on Cap Gap RD, Clayton GA.
