Timothy Chapman Sutton, 16, of Dunlap Street, Clayton, GA., died Thursday July 17, 2008 in Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.
Born in Pickens County, SC., he was the son of Tommy and Carolyn Garland Sutton of Dunlap Street, Clayton, GA. He attended Rabun County High School.
Surviving are his parents- Tommy and Carolyn Garland Sutton of Dunlap Street, Clayton, GA.; four brothers- Robert Sutton of Mtn. City, Josh Addis of Tiger, David Chapman Birchfield and Joshua Chapman Birchfield of the home; two sisters- Jessica Chapman Sutton of Wiley, GA. and Shanda Sutton of the home; grandparents- Ida Mae Garland of Mtn. City and was preceded in death by Robert Earl Garland, Thomas Alvin Sutton and Ruth Jones Sutton. Nephews- Robert Tyler Sutton and Hunter Taggart Sutton of Mtn. City; Niece- Jenna Lynn Shearon of Highlands, NC.; sister-in-law- Elizabeth Crompton Sutton of Mtn. City, GA; Uncles and Aunts- Stephen (Whitey) Birchfiled of the home, Robert and Opal Dailey Garland of Clayton, Tony and Richard Henslee Bailey of the home, Dee and Linda Mason Garland of Clayton, Don and Betty Garland Thomas of Greenville, SC., Doyle and Barbara Garland Taylor of Dalton, GA., Larry and Donna McClain Jones of Mtn. City, Reid and Tina Jones of Clayton, A.V. and Louise Jones Carter of Wiley, Nancy Sutton of Mtn. City, James and Betty Bledsoe of Hart County and Phyllis Fountain of Hart County. He was also preceded in death be two sisters Angela Sutton and Amber Grace Addis.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday July 21, 2008 at Blue Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Cannon and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends form 7 to 9 PM Sunday July 20, 2008. The Family is at the home on Dunlap Street in Clayton.
