Timothy Wayne Hooper

Timothy Wayne Hooper, 65, of Tiger, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was born on July 22, 1959, to the late Boyd and Martha Hooper. Tim was preceded in death by his wife, Dovie Hooper, who passed away on January 5, 2023.

Tim had a passion for classic cars and motorcycles, finding joy in restoring them to their former glory. He loved spending time outdoors, whether fishing or exploring the woods. Known for his sense of humor, he took delight in making others laugh with his jokes. Above all, he cherished his family, embracing his role as a devoted father and a doting grandfather who loved to spoil his grandchildren.

He is survived by his five children: Renea Jarrard (Josh), T.C. Hooper, Zach Hooper, Derick Weaver, and Rebecca Avery (Jonathan). He also leaves behind nine beloved grandchildren: Jacob Jarrard, Josie Jarrard, Tristian Hooper, Zoei Hooper Bearden, Aiden Cline, Braxtynn Cline, Emersyn Weaver, Lily Avery, and Jules Avery.

Tim is also survived by his siblings: Jim Hooper, Clark Hooper, Angela Hunnicutt (Tim), Greg Hooper (Brenda), and Marla Hooper; as well as his sister-in-law, Brenda T. Hooper.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Chuck Hooper and Dean Hooper, and his sister-in-law, Brenda L. Hooper.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Persimmon Community Cemetery, with Rev. Tim Hunnicutt officiating.
