Funeral services for Tim E. Dixon, age 50, of Lakemont, will be on Wednesday January 30, 2008, at 11:00 Am at the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville. Rev. Lisa Graves will officiate with burial to follow the service in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Dixon passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008.
Born in Habersham County on July 4, 1957, Mr. Dixon was the son of the late Abbie Abney Dixon. Mr. Dixon was self employed in construction and he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarkesville.
Survivors include his father and step-mother; Dan and Audrey Duncan Dixon of Clarkesville, wife Elizabeth Emerson Dixon of Lakemont, daughters; Rheanna Dixon, Whitley and Desirae Dixon Barrett both of Clarkesville, Marlena Christine Dixon of Clayton, sons; William Michael Erwin Dixon and Brenton Allen Dixon both of Lakemont, step-daughter; Victoria Lynn Carter of Lakemont, brother; Michael Allen Dixon of Greenville, SC, and brother and sister-in-law; William Matthew and Lisa Marie Dixon of Carnesville, GA, sisters and brothers-in-law Abbie Jane Dixon and Dan Bennett of Good and Mary Annie Dixon and Steven Fourier of Statham, as well as grandchildren; Grace, Ella, Anna Paige, Emma Austin, Dylan and Chris.
The family will receive friends at Hillside Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 5495 Highway 197 South, Clarkesville, on Tuesday , January 29, 2007 from 4 until 6 PM and from 7 until 9 PM.
