Thomas (Tommy) Woodall 61, Tiger, GA


Thomas (Tommy) Woodall, 61, of Tiger, Georgia., died Saturday September 24, 2011 at his residence.
Born March 18, 1950 in Rabun County, He was the son of the late Inez Manley Woodall, he was retired from the textile industry and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Tiger, GA.
He was preceded in death by a son; Joshua Thomas Woodall; by his mother, Inez Manley Woodall; Grandparents, Paul and Julia Manley and by his mother-in-law, Leona Thomas Carver, and is survived by his wife, Katie Carver Woodall of the home. Two sons, John Paul Woodall of Leesburg, FL., Matthew Seth Woodall of Tiger, GA., one daughter and son-in-law, Claudette Giles Gillespie and Rance Gillespie of Valdosta, GA. Four grandchildren; Geophrey Ledford, of Gainesville, GA., Kennedy Gillespie of Valdosta, GA., Taylor Woodall and Jordan Buchanan both of Leesburg, FL.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday September 28, 2011 at the Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Alton Dendy and Rev. Michael Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday night September 27, 2011. The body will be placed in the church at 2:00 PM Wednesday to lie in state. The family is at the home of Carlton English Road, Tiger, GA.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in his memory, to Hospice of North East Georgia Medical Center 2150 Limestone PKY. Gainesville, GA. 20501
