Thomas Ramey

Thomas Jefferson (Tommy) Ramey, 79, of Sand Pump Lane Lakemont, GA., died Tuesday night February 14, 2017 at his residence. He was the widower of Eileen Hipps Ramey.

Born in Rabun County Georgia, June 24, 1937 he was the son of the late Ada Crone. He was self-employed as a sand pumper and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death besides his wife, and mother by one sister, Ruth Callenback and a grandson, Cody Callenback and is survived by his daughter, Carol Callenback of Lakemont, GA., one granddaughter, Shanda Callenback, of Lakemont, GA. one sister, Betty Tyler, of Clayton, GA., and Ann Yearwood of Wiley, GA.

Funeral Services will be at the Bethel Baptist Church Friday February 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Michael Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Baptist Church Friday February 17, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday (The Funeral Hour). The family is at the home of his daughter, Carol Callenback on Sand Pump Lane. Lakemont, GA.
