Thomas Daniel McCoy, 29, of Dewy Rose, GA., died Friday January 7, 2010 at his home.
Born in Rabun County Georgia January 3, 1982 he was the son of Randall and Micheal Lynn Henson McCoy. He was employed in the monument industry in Elberton, GA., and was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grand parents Earl and Maggie Talley McCoy. Thomas is survived by his parents; Randall and Michael Lynn Henson McCoy of Dewey Rose, GA. Two daughters, Haven Willis of Elberton, GA., and Leach McCoy of Athens, GA., a brother, James McCoy of Elberton, GA., a sister, Sunshine McCoy of Danielsville, GA., also by maternal Grandparents, Paul and Gyneth Buchanan, Sr. of Clayton, GA., and maternal step grandparents, Bobby and Patty Rainwater of Cumming, GA. Several Aunts, uncles, cousins and five nieces also survive.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is at their respective residences.
