Thomas Jessie Gibson

Thomas Jessie Gibson , 67 , of Clayton , Ga. died Saturday Feb. 20 , 2016 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville , Ga. He was born January 22, 1949 in Clayton , Ga. to Johnny and Mary Magdaline Maney Gibson.

He was retired from Hanes in the Janitorial Service. He attended the Liberty Baptist Church.

Mr. Gibson is survived by one daughter , Mary Gibson of Clayton , Ga. , three grandchildren, Tasha Gibson , Britany Gibson and Austin Johnson and five great grandchildren and by four brothers, Grady Gibson of Clayton , Ga. , Lucky Gibson , Frank Gibson and Junior Gibson of Hartwell , Ga., two sisters , Dessie Gibson of Rabun Gap , Ga. and Alice Key of Robbinsville , N.C. Several nephews and nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday Feb. 22, 2016 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Burrell officiating. Burial will be in the Pickett Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday Feb. 22, 2016 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. (The funeral hour).

The family is at the home of his sister, Dessie Gibson on Kellys Creek Rd. Rabun Gap, Ga.
