Thelma Burrell, 87, Rabun Gap, Georgia


Thelma Chastain Burrell, 87, of Rabun Gap, Georgia of the Kelly’s Creek Community died Saturday March 11, 2011 in Angel Hospital Franklin, North Carolina.
She was born December 2, 1923, in Rabun County Georgia to the late William Ira, and Pearl Holt Chastain, she the widow of Joe Albert Burrell; she was a homemaker and a member of the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church for 60, years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by four sons, James Leroy Burrell, of Clarkesville, GA., Joe Maurice Burrell, of Clayton, GA., William Harold Burrell, of Rabun Gap, GA., and Prince Albert Burrell, of Rabun Gap, GA., eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive.
The body has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date at her son’s residence Prince Albert Burrell, of Rabun Gap, GA. in the Kelly’s Creek Community.
