Terry Alvin Ramey, 42, of Dunlap Street, Clayton Ga. Died June 20, 2009 in Oconee County, SC.
Born June 7, 1967 he was the son of Louise Holt Ramey of Clayton and the late Vernice Ramey. He was a cabinet maker in the Carpentry Industry and was of the Church of God Faith.
He was preceded in death by his, father Vernice Alvin Ramey and is survived by his mother, Louise Holt Ramey of the home. Also surviving are a son, Tyler Ramey of the home, sisters and spouses, Jean Carter of Tennessee, Linda and Steve Mackin, of Jonesboro, Jeanette and Harold Webb of Clayton, Barbara and Doug Webb of Mountain Rest, SC, Judy and Roger Thrift of Clayton, Cammey and Stacey Carpenter of Rabun Gap, two brothers and their spouse’s Johnny and Linda Ramey of Clayton, and Scott and April Ramey of Clayton, special friend of the family Stefanie Rogers, Tyler’s mother and several nephews nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday June 24, 2009 at the Clayton Church of God with Rev. Bryan Alexander and Perry Lunsford officiating. Burial will be in Rabun Memory Park. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to the Clayton Church of God Tuesday June 23, 2009 where family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. The family is at home on Dunlap Street in Clayton.
