Ted Daniel Smith, 56, of Tiger, GA, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his residence.
Born in Atlanta Georgia October 2, 1954 he was a son of Ted and Bertha Mae Watts Smith, he was employed by the city of Conyers as a Waste Water Treatment supervisor. He was a member of the Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan Smith and Kim of Lilburn, GA; one sister and a brother-in-law Dianne Smith Rice and Tim of the Atlanta area, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday January 2, 2011 at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Watts, Rev. Rusty Wolfrey and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Grove Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be placed in the Rocky Grove Baptist Church Saturday January 1, 2011 where the family will receive friends at the church from 6 PM until 8 PM Saturday evening.
The family is at the home on Charlie Mountain Road, Tiger, GA.
