Susan (Cobb) Teague Speed, 58, of the Warwoman Community, wife of Andrew Speed, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at her home Surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Rabun County, Georgia January 29, 1952 she was the daughter of the late Paul and Myrtle Page Teague, she worked for Hanes Brand as a Machine Technician and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crotcheting, quilting and most of all she loved her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Andrew Speed of the home, one son and daughter-in-law Brian and Angelia Speed of Clayton, GA., one daughter and son-in-law, Cindi and Darren Freeman of Clayton, GA., four brothers, Dan and his wife Martha Teague of Clayton, GA., Randy Teague of Clayton, GA., Greg Speed and his wife Pam of Clayton, Ga., and Dee Speed of Clayton, GA., two sisters and their husbands, Diane and Henry Williamson of Commerce, GA., and Karen and Bill Watkins of Clayton, GA., four grandchildren D’Andrea Freeman, Dakota Freeman, Dalton Freeman and Andrew “Skippy” Speed., several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 28, 2010 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Page and Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 PM until 9 PM Saturday, March 27, 2010.
The family is at the home on Warwoman Road in Clayton.
