Shirley Rogers

Shirley McBurney Rogers, 88, of Mtn, City, GA passed away on Saturday, February 06, 2021 at The Oaks - Scenic View in Baldwin, GA.
 
Born in Oklahoma on December 12, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Walter John McBurney and Mildred Hatchett McBurney. She was a housewife and of the Methodist Faith.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mildred McBurney, her husband, Jay Robert Rogers, a brother, John McBurney and a sister, Mary Jo Clogston. She is survived by a son, Jay (Shannon) Rogers of Franklin, NC , a daughter, Melissa Rogers of Mtn. City, GA and a brother, Burton McBurney of Jennings, LA. Six grandchildren also survive. 

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to Fike Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tennessee where visitation will be Friday February 12, 2021 from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Following visitation there will be a graveside service at the Chattooga Nation Cemetery at 12:30 P.M.

Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements and Fike Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN., are in charge of graveside services.
