Shirley Bernice Burrell Andrews, 54, of Clayton, Georgia died Wednesday May 4, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Rabun County April 13, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Lula Mae Green Burrell. She was a domestic caregiver and was active in the Special Olympics program. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.
Shirley was preceded in death by her late husband, Daniel Kilby, and by six brothers, Jim, Calvin, Lee, Wayne, Michael, and Charles Burrell, and is survived by her special companion, Johnny Hughes; two sons, Marvin Chad Kilby of Clayton and James Michael Andrews of the home. One Daughter, Kimberly LuAnn Andrews of Clayton. Three brothers, Rev. Thomas Burrell and Dean Burrell of Clayton and Glenn Burrell of Tiger, and by her former husband, Grady Andrews. Six grandchildren also survive, Amanda Bell, Mark Groscope, Alex Groscope, Andrean Wooten, Danielle Kilby and Corey Kilby.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday May 7, 2011 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery, Tiger, Georgia with Rev. Cranford Carnes conducting the graveside service.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday May 6, 2011.
The family is at the home on Pebble Lane, Clayton, Georgia.
