Russell Cannon

Russell Ellis Cannon ,IV 64, of Auburn, GA., formerly of Clayton, GA., died Thursday July 26, 2018 in Winder Health Care after an extended illness.

He was born April 21, 1954 in Rabun County to Effie Jane Patterson Cannon and the late John Manning Cannon. He was an electrician and was of the Baptist Faith.

Russell is preceded in death-by his father, John Manning Cannon and a sister, Susan Cannon and is survived by his mother, Jane Patterson Cannon Oliver and step father, Larkin Oliver of Auburn, GA., by a son, Christopher Russell Cannon of Baldwin, GA., by his stepmother, Minnie Lou Ritchie Cannon of Clayton, GA., five brothers, Johnny Cannon of Atlanta, Reuben Cannon, James Cannon, of Clayton, Bobby Cannon of Mt. City, GA., and Rick Oliver of Macon, GA. Two sisters, Vickie Mullins of Clayton and Maggie Lovell of Clayton.

Russell’s body has been cremated- and a celebration of life will be Saturday September 15 from 2:00 P.M.to 6:00 at Stekoa Creek Park Clayton, GA,.The family is at their respective residences and asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in his memory, to Hunter Funeral Home P.O. Box 653 Clayton, GA. 30525.
to aid in funeral expenses.
