Ruby Pauline McCrackin, 86, of Clayton, died Tuesday June 30, 2009 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Georgia.
Born in Rabun County March 21, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Julius and Bessie Smith McCrackin. She was a Homemaker and attended the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim McCrackin and is survived by two brothers, Horace McCrackin of Clayton and Frank McCrackin of Tiger. Two sisters, Annie Wilborn of Clayton and Ruth Taylor of Tiger. Several Nephews, Nieces and Cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday July 2, 2009 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Madison McCrackin Officiating. Burial will be in the Chechero Baptist Church Cemetery. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday July 1, 2009. The family is at the home of her niece, Sherry McCrackin on Jim McCrackin Road, Clayton.
