Rosie Jane Beasley Lamb, 77, of Old Hwy 441 South, Clayton, GA, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton.
Born in Macon County, N.C. January 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late George and Lexie Maney Beasley. She was the widow of Mell Lamb.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Newman’s Chapel Baptist Church of Otto, North Carolina.
Surviving her is one son, George Mell Lamb of Clayton, one daughter Cathey Fountain of Clayton and two sisters, Nellie Henslee and Mary O’Shields both of Clayton. Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Taylors Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tomas Burrell officiating.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 PM on Friday evening June 24th.
The family is at their respective residences.
