Roscoe Palmer

Roscoe Palmer, 88, of Spring Lake, GA, passed away on September 13, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Josephine Grace Palmer, who passed in 2020. Roscoe had a passion for racing, woodworking, and enjoyed spending his time tinkering around his house and workshop. He will be remembered for his love of simple pleasures and his craftsmanship.

Roscoe is survived by his son, Roscoe "Rocky" Palmer (Vicki) of Scaly Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Kimberly Verni (Mike) and Shannon Porter (Josh); great-grandchildren, Christian Tubiolo, Gabe Porter, Joey Porter, Elle Verni, and Daniel Dailey; and great-great-grandchild, Christopher Harrington. He is also survived by his brother, Johnny Palmer. He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Brooke-Lynn Tubiolo; brothers, Albert, Ellis, and Robert Palmer; and his sister, Elouise Willis.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 18th, at 3:00 pm at Rabun Memory Park with Rev. Don Bates officiating. The family will gather at Scaly Mountain Church of God following the services for a time of fellowship.
