Rosalie Turpin Zajdowicz 84, Lakemont, Ga


Rosalie Turpin Zajdowicz, 84, of Lakemont, Ga. died Monday January 31, 2011 at her residence.
She was born January 6, 1927 in Rabun County, Georgia to the late Cecil Jable Sr. and Hassie Page Turpin. She was a member at Camp Creek Baptist Church for many years and worked as a Security Guard at Pinkerton.
She was the widow of Leo Zajdowicz and preceded in death by; two brothers, Cecil J. Turpin, Jr. and Lloyd Turpin, one sister, Mitzie Kidd.
She is survived by five daughters; Linda Zajdowicz, Janet Zajdowicz of Clayton, Ga., Debra Eden and Brenda Parker of Lakemont, Ga. and Cheryl Logan of Darma, Ohio, one brother James Roy Turpin of Toccoa, Ga. and a sister Elizabeth Jones of Savannah, Ga. 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive along with several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 5, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Camp Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Woods officiating burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Friday night February 4, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. the body will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M. to lie in state until the funeral hour (11:00 A.M.)
The family is at the home on Campcreek Road, Lakemont, Ga.
