Ronald Scott Fountain, 48, of the Warwoman Community, RT. 1, Clayton, Georgia., died suddenly at his home Thursday April 8, 2010.
He was born in Rabun County, Georgia., July 27, 1961. He was a Journalist, writing sports news and stories for the Clayton Tribune and other publications. He attended the University of Georgia and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Witty, funny, caring and kind--much loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lois Cunningham Fountain. He is survived by his mother, Martha Fountain Mullis of Clayton. Three brothers; Dale Roland Fountain of Amelia Island, Florida., Roger Lee Fountain and Jon Martin Turpin of Clayton, Georgia., one sister, Tracy Marna Turpin of Clayton and several aunts and uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday April 12, 2010 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. James E. Turpen and Rev. Larry Cannon Officiating. Layman Lloyd Hunter will conduct the graveside service. Burial will be in the Hale Ridge Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Sunday night April 11, 2010 at Hunter Funeral Home from 7 to 9 P.M. The family is at the home on Warwoman Road.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in his memory to Tracy Turpin, 5653 Warwoman Road Clayton, Georgia., 30525
