Robert Young (Bob ) Weaver, 78, Clayton, Georgia


Robert Young (Bob) Weaver, 78, of Cobalt, Lane Dillard, Georgia., died Sunday March 6, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Oconee, South Carolina., December 11, 1932., to the late Amon Young Weaver, and Lilly Ellen Holbrook’s, Weaver.
He worked for Mid Way Electric for 28, years and the Dillard House as a Maintenance person for 24 years and then retired. He also was a Korean and Vietnam Veteran Serving in the U.S. Air Force; he was Baptist by Faith and was a member of the Blue Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death besides his parents by one son, Ricky Weaver, one daughter, Sandra Elaine Weaver, two brothers, Walter Weaver, and Joe Weaver, three sisters, Geneva Smith, Stella Wall and Ellen Rudeseal.
He is survived by his loving wife Willie Mae McDonald Weaver, of the home, three sons, and their spouses, Mike and Judy Weaver of Eastanollee; Bruce and Barbara Weaver, of Dillard, GA; and Scott Weaver, of long Creek S.C., three Daughters and their husbands, Deborah and Dale Gragg, lakeMont, GA., Ginger and Sammy Holbrook’s, of Toccoa, GA., and Peggy and Tommy Emory of Mountain City, GA., four brothers, Gordon, Luther, Claude, and Paris Weaver. One sister, Pearlie Rudeseal. Fifteen Grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday March 9, 2011; Blue Heights Baptist Church at 2 P.M.Conducted by Rev. Michael Rogers, Rev. Dennis Ledford. Graveside Services will be conducted by Rev. Jason Holbrook’s.
Burial will be at the Blue Heights Baptist Church Cemetery will full Military Honors.
The family will receive friends Tuesday March 8, 2011 from 6 To 8 P.M. at The Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state from 1 P.M.until the funeral hour Wednesday March 9,2011.
The family is at the home on Cobalt Lane, Dillard, Georgia.
