Robert Weaver

Robert B. Weaver, 54, of Dillard, Georgia, known to his friends as Bruce, died Wednesday January 23, 2013 in North East Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Georgia,

Born October 20, 1958 in Valpariso, Florida, he was the son of Willie Mae McDonald Weaver of Dillard and the late Bob Weaver. He was a cook at the Dillard House in Dillard, Georgia., and a U.S. Army Veteran and was of the Baptist Faith.

Besides his father, Bob Weaver, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Weaver and by a sister, Sandra Elaine Weaver, and by a step son Bobby Hopkins. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hopkins Weaver of the home, His mother Mae Weaver of Dillard, GA., a son Derick Weaver, Tiger, Ga., a daughter, Renea Jarrard, Clayton, GA., two brothers, Michael Weaver of Eastonollie, GA., and Scott Weaver of Long Creek, SC. Three sisters, Debbie Gragg of Lakemont, GA., Ginger Holbrooks of Toccoa, GA., Peggy Emory of MT. City, Georgia. Two grandchildren and five step grandchildren.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Saturday January 26, 2013 from 3 To 4:30 P.M. with a service at 4:30 P.M conducted by Rev. Avery Lawrence and Layman Lloyd Hunter, with cremation following the funeral service.

The family is at the home on Cobalt Lane, Dillard, Georgia.
