Robert Steven “Bob” Childers-

A Memorial Service will be Saturday November 21, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church in the Bridge Creek Community Tiger, Georgia.

Bob died November 1, 2015 and funeral services were held in Albany, Georgia., November 6, 2015 with burial in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

Bob was the son of the late Fred Allen and Ruth Burrell Childers and is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Lemon Childers of Albany, three children, Brett Childers of Woodstock, Brandon Childers and his wife, Lauren of Marietta, and Stephanie Childers of Albany. Three siblings, Fred Allen Childers (Velma) of Clayton, GA., Helen R. Garland of Dalton, GA., and Mary Ann Whittington (Al) OF Clayton, GA. Five grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Violet Matthews (Joseph) of Wichita, Kansas.
