Robert Allen Love, 67, of MT. City, Georgia., died Thursday January 6, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Rabun County June 21, 1943, he was the son of the Allene Justus (Love) Church of Clayton and the late J.D. Love. He was a carpenter by trade and was of Baptist by Faith.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his father, a son Wade Love and is survived by his mother Allene Justus Church of Clayton and by three daughters and two sons-in-law; Robin and Jake Craine and Rhonda Watts of Clayton and Roxie and Leon Shirley of Tiger, GA., also a very special friend, Elaine Daily of MT. City, GA., and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. One brother, J.C. Love of MT. City, GA. One sister, and her husband Carolyn and Haden Crowe of Duluth, GA. Six Grandchildren, Josh and Dustin Watts, Jacob Craine, Kimberly Shirley, Katie Shirley, and Savannah Shirley and one great grandson, Hunter Watts.
Funeral Services will be Sunday January 9, 2011 at the Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Britt officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday January 8, 2011. The body will be placed in the Church at 1:00 P.M. Sunday to lie in state.
The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Roxie and Leon Shirley on Bethel Road, Tiger, GA.
