Robert Gordon Eller
October 17, 1946 – July 26, 2015


Robert Gordon Eller, 68, left his earthly body and was in the presence of his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 26, 2015.
Born in Rabun County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Benny Eller and Rosa Mae Eller McCloud, and lived the greater part of his life in Clayton, Georgia. Mr. Eller was a decorated U. S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, earning a Purple Heart.
Mr. Eller was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by three sisters, Ester Quilliams, Evelyn Conley and Joyce Galloway. He is survived by his wife, Annette Eller of Palmetto, Florida, his daughter Dorinda Paige of Smyrna, Georgia, two step-sons, Shane Zaloumes and Sean Zaloumes of Palmetto, Florida, two brothers, Clifton Eller of Clayton, Georgia and Hansel Eller of Seneca, South Carolina, three sisters, Jessie Shirley and Bessie Turpin of Tiger, Georgia, and Helen (Jim) Crunkleton, of Rabun Gap, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Hunter Funeral Home in Clayton, GA at 11 A.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 and Memorial services to follow at 12 P.M. with full military honors. Rev. Tim Durden and Rev. Marty Kilby will preside over the service.
