Richard Ferrarini, 83, of Franklin, NC., died Friday November 30, 2012 in Rabun Gap, Georgia. He was the widower of Marie Antonette Girgenti Ferrarini.
Born in Brooklyn, New York November 24, 1929 He was the son of the late Daniel L. Ferrarini and Josephine Calabrese Ferrarini. He was an electrical contractor, having worked for Lowes in Franklin, NC., and in the construction of the casino in Cherokee, NC. He was a member of the Spiritual Life Center in Franklin, NC.
He was preceded in death, besides his wife and parents, by a daughter Junemarie Ferrarini and by a sister, Joanna Vassallo and is survived by his life partner, Betty Cook Ferrarini of Rabun Gap, GA., and by a son, Steven Ferrarini of Knightdale, NC., and by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body has been cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
