Rebekah V. Rheault, 56, of 407 Warwoman RD, Clayton, Ga. Died Thursday September 3, 2009 in her home; after an 18-month battle with Lou Gerhig’s Disease.
Becky was born Feb 4, 1953 in Germany and spent 34 years in Fitchburg, Mass. After living in W.P.B. Florida for 6 years she moved to Georgia where she spent the last 16 years with her family.
She was a devoted loving wife for 32 years to her husband John Rheault a dedicated compassionate mother to their 6 children and also an accomplished singer and business owner, crafter and flea marketer. She was a member of the St James Episcopal Church in Clayton and volunteered her time as a manager of two local thrift stores.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Magdalena (Klensch) Valitation. She is survived by her husband, John Rheault of Leominster, Mass, and her stepmother, Carol Burns. Also surviving are sons, Frederick, Carlo, Bowie, Mark, and Luke along with her daughter Carolann. Brothers, Peter Valiton, Matt and Thomas Burns. Sisters, Deborah Kainu, Monica Valiton, Evi Valiton (St. Armand), Patty Hurley and Francias Wilber. Grandchildren, Tristan, Catlin, Isabella, Noah, Arianna, and Lillian. She is also survived by her spiritual mother, Joyce (Taj) Libby of Winter Park, Florida, who loved and guided both Becky and John for over 29 years, with a kindness, and devotion that a mother has for her own children. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but we are all thankful she is now peaceful and resting comfortably in Gods loving arms.
A memorial Service will be held at St James Episcopal Church Saturday September 19, 2009 at 11:00A.M., Conducted by the Rev. Steve Hall. Family asks that in lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to John Rheault, 407 Warwoman RD, Clayton, Ga. 30525, to assist in Funeral Expenses.
