Rebecca Madge Vinson

Rebecca Madge Vinson, 79, of Dillard, Ga passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Northeast
Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Dillard, GA, on October 7,1941 she was the daughter of the late Furman and Jessie Vinson. She worked for
many years as a bookkeeper and accounting manager for several construction firms in Atlanta.
After retiring, she moved back to Dillard where she was the owner of The Village Peddler
antique store. She also worked in Clayton, Ga helping students acquire their GED certification.
She was a member of Head of Tennessee Baptist Church where she was a frequent volunteer
for church activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Furman and Jessie Haynie Vinson, sister Joanne
Tumidalski, and brothers Gene and Tim Vinson. She is survived by five nieces and nephews and
three step-daughters.

Visitation will be at 11:00am Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Head of Tennessee Baptist Church in
Dillard. Service and burial will follow at noon.by Rev Doug Porter
