Raymond Craig, 57, of Shady side Drive, Clayton died Thursday August 16, 2012 at his residence.
Born in Rabun county June 7, 1955, he was the son of the late L.E. and Vera Hunter Craig. He was employed in the textile industry for a number of years and at the time of his death was employed at the Huddle House in Clayton. He was of the Church of God Faith.
Raymond was preceded in death by a brother , Bruce Craig and is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Ron Baumes of Clayton. One brother, Kenneth Craig of Clarkesville, GA., three sisters, Carolyn Foster, Ruth English and Helen Godwin all of Clayton. Four grandchildren, Gage Stiefel, Daniel Willis, Ronald Baumes IV, and Michael Baumes. Several Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be Monday August 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Baumes officiating. Burial will be in Rabun Memory Park with Rev. Jim Carver conducting the graveside Service.
The body is at Hunter funeral home where family will receive friends Sunday August 19, 2012 from 6 To 8 P.M.
The family is at the home of his daughter and son –in-law, Lynn and Ron Baumes on Red Fox Lane in Clayton, GA
. Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
