Prudence Dotson Smith, 80, of Tiger, Georgia., died Friday night November 30, 2012 in Habersham County Medical Center. She was the widow of William David (Dick) Smith.
Born in Rabun county February 22, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Charlie B. Dotson and Minnie Craig Dotson. She was a nurse (LPN) and attended the Tiger Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by three sons; Michael (Pig) Smith, Larry Smith, Charles (Chuck) Smith, a grandson, Chad Smith and by eight brothers and three sisters and is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Dotson of Baldwin, GA., and Dywane Dotson of Sandy Hook, Mississippi and by one sister, Lorene Dotson Rogers of Clayton, GA. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday December 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Pastor Austin Kelley officiating, Burial will be in the Tiger Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home with visitation from 4 to 8 P.M. Sunday December 2, 2012. The family is at their respective residences.
