Perry Blain Taylor, 59, Clarkesville, Georgia.


Perry Blain Taylor, 59, of Clarkesville, Ga. died Friday, April 2, 2010, at his residence.
He was born August 13, 1950, in Rabun County, Georgia, to the late John Baptist and Carrie Odessa Breedlove Taylor.
He was a Baptist by faith and worked in the Construction Industry.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Oxley of Arkansas.
He was the husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Watts Taylor, and is survived by one son and a daughter-in-law, John and Marie Taylor, and by one daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Darrell Holden, all of Habersham County, Georgia, and by six sisters and five brother-in-laws, Jackie and Kenneth Benfield of Demorest, Joyce and Mike Esposito of Nicholson, Ga., Windy and Aaron Carnes of Clayton, Ga., Linda Vandiver of Lakemont, Ga., Wanda and Ernest Blalock of Toccoa, Ga. and Johnnie and Conrad Cheney of Convington, Ga. Seven grandchildren also survive, Kaitlyn Holden, J.T. Holden, Blaine Taylor, Gracie Banks, Scott Taylor, Jimmy Holden and Justin Holden, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 3:00 P.M. at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Merck and Rev. Rusty Wolfrey officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to the Rocky Grove Baptist Church where the family will receive friends Wednesday, April 7, 2010, from 6 to 9 P.M.
