Peggy Ruth McCrackin 75, Lakemont, Ga


Peggy Ruth McCrackin, 75 of HWY 441 S. Lakemont, Georgia, died Saturday September 24, 2011 at the residence of her daughter, Cindy Davis on Lilac Lane, off Wolf Creek Road, Tiger, GA.
Born in Rabun County, GA October 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. McCrackin, Sr. and Lola Shirley McCrackin. She was a homemaker and was member of Joy Baptist Church.
She, besides her parents, was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and by four grandchildren and one great grand son.
She is survived by her companion, Tom McCrackin of the home;by one son; Jake Davis of Lakemont by three daughters Duchess Woodall, Cindy Davis and Wilda Atkins, all of Tiger, GA. Two brothers, Sam McCrackin and Will McCrackin both of Lakemont, GA. By two sisters; Betty Thomas of Tallulah Falls, GA and Edith Franklin of Lakemont, GA. Twelve grand children and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday September 27, 2011 at the Joy Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Hopkins and Rev. Thomas Burrell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The boy is at Hunter Funeral home and will be taken to the Joy Baptist Church Monday evening September 26, 2011, where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Cindy Davis, on Lilac Lane, off Wolf Creek Road, Tiger, GA.
The family asks that memorial donations be made, in her memory to Hunter Funeral Home, PO Box 653, Clayton, GA. 30525, to aid in funeral expenses.
