Paulette Ritchie

Paulette Keener Ritchie, 92, of Mountain City, Georgia., widow of Willis E. Ritchie, died Monday January 28, 2013 at her residence,

Born in Macon County, NC. March14, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Nell Jacobs. Paulette was an inspector with Claburne MFG. Company and a homemaker. She was a Baptist and faithfully attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Rabun Gap,

Besides her husband, Willis E. Ritchie, she was preceded in death by a son, Earl Ritchie, by a granddaughter Susan Cannon and by a brother, Robert ‘Jiggs’ Carpenter, and is survived by two daughters, Minnie Lou Cannon of Clayton and Mildred Peak and her husband Ray of Otto, NC. One sister Rose Mary Kimsey and her husband Bill of Franklin, NC and by a sister-in- law, Connie Carpenter of Florida. Eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday Jan. 31, 2013 at the New Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Heights Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Wednesday January 30, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm. The family is at the home on Comfort Street, Mountain City.
