Paul Stevenson Green

Paul Stevenson Green, age 74 of Rabun Gap, Georgia, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, November 13, 2023 at his residence surround by his family. 

Paul served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and fought on the frontlines for our freedom. He was a musician who loved to sing for the Lord and sang in many churches in the area. He was a loving husband, daddy and pawpaw.

He was born on, August 29, 1949 in Franklin, North Carolina, he was the son of  William and Addie Pearl (Wilson) Green. He was married for 43 years to the love of his life , Teresa (Scaggs) Green. In addition to his wife Teresa, Paul is survived by his daughter, Cynthia White (Dustin), son, Stephen Green; grandchildren who were the stars in his eyes, Brian Kessler and Jaxson White; brother, Dean Green (Joyce); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Addie Green, brother, Don Green and sister Mary Rice.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Pastors Joe McCrackin, Marvin Reid, Oliver Rice and Ronia Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Burial will follow the service at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, in Rabun Gap, Georgia.
