Paul was preceded in death by his stepson, John Teschendorf, a former resident of Clayton.
Paul was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Harvey Perry Crowder and Dorothy Fichtel Crowder. He served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy in World War II and subsequently received his B.S. degree in Commerce and Finance from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania in June of 1948.
