Patricia B. Holzendorf, 73, went to be with the Lord May 17th 2010 at her home in Clayton.
A Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday May 19th at St. Helena Catholic Church in Clayton, Georgia. A viewing will be held beginning at 4:30 P.M. at the Church. And a Brief reception will be at the Church.
Patricia was born October 12, 1936, in Evansville, IN., to Lester Bono and Gladys Ashby. She graduated high school and worked for the phone company prior to getting married. Her family moved to Georgia in 1967 where she raised her three children, Steven, Lisa and David.
Upon her retirement in 1999, Pat moved to Clayton where she happily lived the last eleven years of her life. Until her illness she was actively involved in her Church and Volunteered with AARP. Pat also worked part-time at Covecrest Retreat Center in Tiger, GA. She also volunteered at a local nursing home in Clayton.
Pat enjoyed studying the bible and reading about many different subjects, walking, Outdoors, Jigsaw puzzles, her family and grandchildren.
She will be lovingly missed and is survived by her three children Steven McEnroe of Scottsdale, AZ., Lisa and her husband John JR. Wells of Flowery Branch, GA., and David and his wife Lottie Holzendorf of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Derek and his wife Megan McEnroe, Kayla McEnroe, John Wells III, and Kristen Wells.
To those who knew her this is her farewell to you. To those who loved her, nothing has changed but her location.
