Patricia Cleaveland

Patricia Ann (Patsy) Cleaveland, 87, of Clayton, GA. died Tuesday August 15, 2017
in Ce-Eckerd Living Center in Highlands NC.
Patsy was born in Rabun County October 12,1929. The daughter of late Vaughn T. Stonecypher & Maude Cannon Stonecypher. She was the widow of Henry A. Cleaveland and had retired as a community worker with the family and children’s service (DFACS), State of Georgia in Rabun County and was a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Henry A. Cleaveland, by her parents, Vaughn and Maude Cannon Stonecypher, and by a son, Jamie Cleaveland and is survived by daughter-in-law Sharon M. Cleaveland of Sylva, NC. By two grandsons, Dr. Nathan Cleaveland (Danielle) of Summerfield NC. By Asst. D.A. Christopher Cleaveland (Caroline) of Mooresville, NC. And by a great grandson Theodore A. Cleaveland. A number of cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be Friday August, 18th 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the East side Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Dr. Nathan Cleaveland, Christopher Cleaveland, Scott Bleckley and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Highlands Cemetery in Highlands NC.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be at the chapel Friday August 18th, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. (The funeral hour). Burial will be at the Highlands Cemetery in Highlands NC at 3:00 P.M. Friday. The family is at their respective residences.
Family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made, in her memory, to the Christian Training Center International (CTI) of Franklin NC.
