Opal Lee Dailey Garland

Opal Lee Dailey Garland, age 81, of Clayton, GA passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Born on November 26, 1942, to the late Fred Weaver Dailey and Imogene Gladys (Roberts) Dailey. She was survived by her husband Robert Earl Garland Jr; two daughters, Brenda Lee Garland Cook and husband Steve, and Dowana Hopper of husband Allen; grandchildren, Chris Cook (Lauren), Jennifer Byrnes (Matt), Rebecka Hopper Carpenter (Caney), Austin Hopper (Haley); great grandchildren, Charlie Cook, Anna Kate Cook, Hugh Byrnes, Mary Belle Byrnes, Annslee Grace Carpenter, and Ellie Faye Hopper; one brother, three sisters and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service. A private graveside service will follow.
