Ona Baker, 90, of Baker Lane, Tiger, GA Died Saturday May 10, 2008 in Mountain Lakes Medical Center.
Born in Rabun County, August 8, 1917, she was the daughter of the late M.E. Baker and Cordelia Lovell Baker. She was a retired employee in the textile industry and was a member of the Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
She was the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by 3 nephews; Jerry Nunnally of Cornelia, GA. Russell Robinson of Franklin, N.C. and John Bramblett of Tiger, GA. and a niece Judy McClain of Tiger, GA.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday May 12, 2008 at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Wolfrey and Rev. John Gipson officiating. Burial will be in the Shook Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home. Where family will receive friends form 6 to 8 PM Sunday May 11, 2008. Her body will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM Monday May 12, 2008 to Lie in State. The family is at their respective residences.
