Nora Belle Bingham

Nora Belle Craig Bingham, 89, of Clayton, Georgia., died at her residence Saturday September 5, 2015; she was the widow of Ebb Bingham.

Born in the Bridge Creek Community, Rt.1, Tiger, Georgia., September 9, 1925, she was the 7th child of the late Virgil Columbus Craig and Ina Cleo Holcomb Craig. She was a retired cook with the Rabun County School System and was a long time member of the Rocky Grove Baptist Church.

Nora was preceded in death by four sisters, Gladys Craig, Myrtle Caudell, Iva Chilton and Evelyn Alley., and by five brothers, L.E. Craig, Willford Craig, Jesse Willard Craig, James Craig and George Craig, and is survived by one son, Steve Bingham of the home, two brothers, Buck Craig. of Clayton, GA., and Jack Craig of Otto, NC., two sisters, Leo Smiley of Bryson City, NC., and Ruth Parker of Duluth, GA., Numerous nephews nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be Monday September 7, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the New Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Jewel Gaines officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in the Bridge Creek Community.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be Monday September 7, 2015 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. (The Funeral Hour). The family is at the home.
