Neva Sterleen Clower, 95, Clayton, Ga.


Neva Sterleen Clower, 95, of Warwoman Road, Clayton, died Saturday October 3, 2009 at her home.
Born in Jasper County, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Francis M. Wright and Ethel Esther Owen Wright. She was for many years a clerk in the Family and Children’s Services in Los Angeles, California. She attended the Episcopal Church. She was a member of the Clayton Woman’s Club and was an avid bridge player.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen E. Collins, and is survived by her husband, Larry E. Clower of the home. Son-in-law Bob Collins of Clayton. One grandson, Jeffery J. Collins of Clayton. Four great grand children and one great great grand child also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 7, 2009 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Reginald Gunn officiating. Burial will follow in Rabun Memory Park. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday October 6, 2009. The family is at the home on Warwoman Road, Clayton, Ga.
